Erica Williams, often called the “Tony Robbins of Social Change”, is the CEO of Foolish Live Ventures. Foolish Life works with individuals, organizations and brands to unlock the power of social change in authentic, creative ways. Through original content, consulting, and communications, Foolish Life gives practical, strategic insight and inspiration to those looking to change the world through their work and lives. Before Foolish Life, Erica served as Senior Strategist at Citizen Engagement Lab (CEL). CEL is an accelerator for people-powered projects like and that use digital media and cultural organizing to engage communities in social change. Through it’s network, CEL’s work engages over 2 million members. Prior to this role, Erica was the co-founder of Progress 2050, a project of the Center for American Progress that develops new ideas for an increasingly diverse America. Listed by as one of 50 Top Politicos, Erica’s work first gained national attention as the Deputy Director & Director of Advocacy at Campus Progress, the nation’s largest national youth advocacy organization. While there she led tens of thousands of Americans in advancing progressive policy with and for young people focused on economic justice, college affordability, educational equity, health care, and clean energy. Erica was recognized as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum and is a member of the Forum’s Social Media Global Agenda Council. She has a unique knowledge of how today’s world is changing to reflect a new culture and a new generation of changemakers. Testifying before Congress, training young leaders across the country, and advocating on Capitol Hill, she has become a nationally recognized leader & commentator on social change and key issues affecting women. Erica has been regularly featured on a wide variety of programs reaching broad audiences: from Fox News, Charlie Rose and HBO’s Real Time w Bill Maher, to MTV, BET and G4TV.  Her work has been highlighted in the Washington Post, Harvard Business Review, Huffington Post, and Dubbed “The Future” by Dr. Cornel West, Erica is an O Magazine Women Rule Leadership Award Winner, an NAACP 40 under 40, and a proud Washington area native.
