David Banner
In 2003, David Banner released his critically acclaimed debut album Mississippi: The Album. He later went on to release 4 successful albums spawning the #1 hit singles “Get Like Me”, “Play”, “Like A Pimp”, & “Cadillac on 22’s”. His past production credits include: Kanye West, TI, Nelly, Maroon 5, Snoop Dogg, Anthony Hamilton, Chris Brown & many more. In February 2010, Banner received a Grammy Award© for his production on Lil Wayne: The Carter III. During the height of his musical career, Banner turned his talents from music to acting. In his debut feature film Black Snake Moan David worked with Academy Award© winning director Craig Brew and esteemed actors Samuel L Jackson & Christina Ricci. Banner has since went on to be a part of the movies: This Christmas, Stomp The Yard: Homecoming. In his upcoming feature films, Banner is starting along side Academy Award© Winners Forest Whitaker & Adrien Brody (The Experiment) as well as veteran actors Richard Roundtree (The Confidant). Banner has now taken his musical talent to the advertising and motion picture world. His recent Gatorade commercial (“Evolve” & “Before/During/After”) aired during the 2010 NBA Finals. Banner recently scored lead dance sequence for the upcoming film Footloose as well as music to be featured in DreamWorks animated movie MegaMind.
